DEIL MATESL Application for U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents

Step 1:

Choose one of the following methods to apply:

1. Apply online via the Web.

2. Request a paper application by sending an email request to gradadmissions@uiuc.edu and send it in.

Step 2:

Send in the $50 application fee and completed paper application (if applicable) to:

If you apply online, you may pay by Visa or Mastercard.

Step 3:  

Mail the following items to the department: 

• official transcripts, 

• 3 letters of reference and 

• any other relevant materials
